Model YS-20

Tachometer to measure yarn or wire speed and length as well as revolutions and surface speed. Measures the speed or length of yarns, wires and other fi laments (material diameter up to 0.5 mm) – for example on circular knitting and hosiery machines – using a yarn measuring adapter with an easy-run, rubber coated measuring wheel and unique »wrapper« roller. This technique eliminates fi lament slip and breakage. The YS-20 can also be used either as a contact or a non-contact tachometer to measure revolutions of shafts, motors, pulleys etc. or line speed of moving surfaces as conveyor belts,
webs of paper or fabric etc.
